Extended Moments

These images I captured to create the atmospheric/emotional feel of the landscape.

Flying Over the Yukon

The images in this gallery were made with a 35mm pinhole camera and also a direct scan of natural objects from the landscape.

Lumen Floral Gallery

Floral Pinhole Images

These images were created with an Olympus E1 35mm camera with a pinhole attached to the body. The original lens was removed.

Shells

This shell series is part of an ongoing series in which I explore the shell in still life settings using a shallow cylinder pinhole camera ; the latter panoramic shells incorporate shells in a changing context.

Abstraction

The pinhole images seen here, were meditations on light. They were created with a variety of pinhole cameras.

Through the Pinhole

16x20 pinhole image from a bathroom hamper pinhole camera. Paper negative generated, hand-colored and sepia toned.

Waterfalls

These images were shot with a 4x5 pinhole camera and Polaroid 55 P/N film. The images range from natural to abstraction.

The Thin Man-- Pinhole Photography

This series of still life images represent the travels of an ear cup figure to many places--real and imagined.

Women I've Known

Women I've Known is a series of still lives from every day life. In reflection, After putting the images together in a book format, I realized that the work had been created by a Woman I Know.

Cyanotypes

Cyanotypes are like photograms; however, they are printed on a sensitized surface with a cyanotype solution and printed out in the sun and then rinsed in water for the image to appear. The process is a 19th century one.

My Pinhole Cameras

Pinhole cameras offer me an opportunity to explore an image is a unique way. They are used for their depth of field, distortion, multiple imaging and angle of view.

Landscape

Pinhole Experimental

The pinhole images in this gallery are made with paper negatives and pinhole cameras from my gallery of pinhole cameras. (See pinhole cameras) In the first image I combined images from pinhole images and used a water negative (digital camera). In the last image I used my "diving lady camera" using a dog cage as a tripod.

Gilded archival prints

Archival Pigment prints on Vellum. Hand-applied gold on verso.

Autumn Passages

Autumn Passages is about my experience of taking photographs. These images were taken with an iPhone while driving at 40 mph through the Rocky Mountains I frequently find that my making of photographs, the process, is more true than the final product. They are part of a performance piece of "within time" seeing.

Hand-Colored Digital Images

Miscellaneous 2025

This latest Gallery shows work I am currently doing in 2025. It hasn't been categorized yet.

The Waterfall Gallery consists of pinhole photographs taken across the United States.
I used Polaroid 55 P/N film which gave me a positive and and a negative. I shot with a 4x5 with a 3" focal length wooden camera. I began the series looking for portion of the falls that gave them a new look; I ended up with Falls that took on an abstract look.  The latter was what I was looking for.
